About Liz Nelson
Sports and Exercise Scientist • Women’s Health & Performance Coach
Supporting athletes to thrive in sport and life.
Hi, I’m Liz
I’m a sports and exercise scientist, pharmacist, health communications professional and coach with over 30 years of experience working with athletes of all levels to perform at their best in sport and life. As an athlete, I have learned that performance goes beyond numbers. It’s about having the right support in your corner, with the approach that works for you.
As a coach, I love using my technical expertise and love of exercise to help people achieve their sporting goals and excellent adventures. I prepare athletes for a variety of events such as Three Peaks Challenge, triathlon (all distances), trail/ultra running events, road and gravel cycling racing-including masters world championship events. I also prepare athletes for cycling and adventure holidays.
My Why:
Mission & Philosophy
I believe that exercise and sport transcend our physical health by teaching us values that help us improve our everyday lives. The process of preparation for a sporting goal can teach us about bravery, resilience, patience, self reliance and integrity.
My coaching philosophy appeals to athletes that enjoy a thoughtful approach to the process of training and racing.
